Puncak acara pemberian Anugerah Adikarya Wisata 2012 atau Jakarta Tourism Award digelar pada Selasa, 4 Desember 2012 di Hotel Mulia Senayan Jakarta. Gubernur Provinsi DKI Jakarta turut menyerahkan langsung penghargaan tersebut.

Buddhists to observe Waisak at Mendut, Borobudur temples
Tens of thousands of Buddhists from across Indonesia and abroad are expected to observe Waisak (Buddhist Day of Enlightenment) 2556 this year at the two neighboring temples of Mendut and Borobudur in Magelang, Central Java, on Sunday.

 | Jakarta Biennale is an international art event held every two years. Since 1968, Jakarta Biennale has been held 14 times. If 2009 and then we picked up the theme ARENA, this year we held # 14.2011 Jakarta Biennale with the theme of "Maximum City". Implementation of the Biennale, as a venue for art, internationally agreed benchmark achievement as art in general, and the fine arts in particular.  | PERNAH dengar nama Hotel Sriwijaya? Hotel ini ada di pojokan Jalan Veteran dan Jalan Veteran I, Jakarta Pusat. Dilihat dari Stasiun Juanda, hotel ini berada di sisi kanan tak jauh dari Masjid Istiqlal. Tembok hotel ini memanjang hingga ke Jalan Veteran I mendekati kedai es krim Ragusa. Bisa jadi ada banyak orang yang tak tahu bahwa hotel di pojokan Jalan Veteran itu adalah hotel lawas yang berawal sejak 1872 bahkan agak sedikit mundur ke belakang, 1863. Adalah Conrad Alexander Willem Cavadino atau CAW Cavadino yang memulai usaha restoran dan kue di tahun 1863.
