Great Location
In terms of historic importance the Sriwijaya Hotel is one of the oldest and most historic in Jakarta. The standard rooms and better are excellent value but the economy rooms are tiny. The hotel also has a restaurant which serves a buffet breakfast included in the price. The food is good although caters primarily for the Indonesian business traveller so some appetites of westerners may not find their filling. However if you are in Asia and do what the locals do then you will be fine. The area around the hotel is fll of sights, museums, and parks. It is a distance from the old city center but there is easy. For a reasonble price this hotel offers great value.
Briyani/ Kebuli Set at Sriwijaya Hotel
“…When looking at the menu, I remembered that the specialty of Sriwidari Restaurant, at Sriwijaya Hotel, is a kind of Briyani/Biryani dish which was named the Kebuli Set. I ordered that while my client ordered the oxtail soup. My order came, a yellow aromatic basmati rice dish sprinkled with sultanas (pale golden raisins) coming with three tender pieces of lamb. Fresh pickles and spicy eggplant curry were served as accompaniments to the Kebuli Set. It was delicious! And the price was only Rp 39.000!”

untuk keseluruhan saya sangat puas dengan kebersihan kamar di hotel ini. terutama untuk kamar mandi yang luas dan bersih. menu sarapan juga lumayan enak dan tidak membosankan.
